Remote BMW coding over ENET, wherever you are
You do not need to come to us. All it takes is an ENET cable and a laptop with internet. You connect the laptop to the car, we connect to the laptop and do the install remotely.
Everything we do in person works this way too: Waze in the instrument cluster, the Performance apps, MGU Store and xDrive OFF (BETA). As always, we check the car first.
What you need
- An ENET cable (OBD2 to Ethernet). Cheap and easy to find online: search for "BMW ENET cable".
- A Windows, macOS or Linux laptop with a stable internet connection. No Ethernet port? A USB to Ethernet adapter works.
- The car parked, with a healthy battery or, ideally, a charger connected while we work.
How it works
- Send us the model, year and VIN. We check what your car can take.
- Plug the ENET cable into the OBD port of the car and into your laptop.
- We send you a link for a remote access app and connect to your laptop.
- We install and configure everything. You stay by the car.
- We check together, on the screens, that it all works.
What we can do remotely
- Waze directions in the digital instrument cluster
- Performance apps: M Vitals, Virtual Dyno, G-Force, Drag Timer, Brake Test, Redline, eDrive, Fault Scanner
- MGU Store, so you can install and update apps yourself
- xDrive OFF (BETA) on compatible cars, after checking yours
